A complete twenty five lesson scheme on ‘Millions��� by Frank Cottrell Boyce for KS3. The scheme includes a PowerPoint that teaches the entire novel with two reading assessment points. The scheme also includes all resources and a revision quiz for the final lesson.
A full scheme of work teaching the content and comprehension of ‘A Monster Calls’ by Patrick Ness.
The scheme includes a 218 slide PowerPoint presentation with detailed lessons on every chapter of the text, along with all resources, worksheets and homework sheets. There is also both a reading and writing assessment and lessons working towards these.
The scheme focuses on understanding and enjoying the content of the text, analysing key language using PEE paragraphs and writing in response to key parts of the text.

A series of five lessons in which students complete a hunt around the classroom to compile a timeline of events leading up to the fire and what happened afterwards. Students then complete a range of engaging activities including poster making, scavenger hunts in relation to articles and debates to decide who they think was to blame for the disaster.
The final two lessons are based around writing a letter to the body they feel is to blame, persuading them to make amends for their actions.
A detailed PowerPoint is included for all five lessons, along with all worksheets and resources needed.

This is a full scheme of work based on the novel 'Night' by Elie Wiesel. It includes 217 detailed PowerPoint slides of twenty one lessons. The scheme teaches the entire novel and includes reading time in class. This scheme was aimed at a top set year 7 class, but would be suitable for any key stage three class and is easily adaptable. All resources and worksheets are also included.
This is a complete scheme of work for William Shakespeare’s 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream.'
It consists of 11 weeks worth of lessons (3 per week) aimed at a year 7 group, although would be appropriate for any key stage three class with differentiation.
There are lessons on relevant contextual information, along with scene by scene reading and analysis lessons. There are also practice PEEZR paragraph writing lessons at appropriate points in the text and feedback lessons including model answers for each question.

This scheme aims to teach the skills needed for AQA English language paper one section A - explorations in creative reading and writing, but through detective fiction stories.
Each question of the paper is explicitly gone through in detail for one week at a time.
The unit was aimed at engaging boys in particular in the language exam.
It it suitable for a medium ability year 9 class, but is appropriate and easily adapted for higher ability and age groups up to year 11.
All resources including a language practice homework booklet are included.

This is a full scheme of work for Romeo and Juliet, aimed at low ability KS4 or KS3, but can easily be adapted for higher ability. Initiate: a timeline outlining the plot through key quotations
Activate: ‘Juicy’ quotations to analyse to push into the higher levels of the mark scheme
Plenary: some thought provoking questions to discuss with people near to them to push their ideas and analysis further.
This would be ideal as a quick revision session the day before the exam/mock exams or on the morning of.
